Abstract

The world is evolving rapidly; digitalization is the core of this era. Every field needs to adapt to changes the world at large is going through to keep up with the technological pace. During the outbreak of COVID-19, throughout the world, the traditional set-up of education was in pause. So, the use of digital technology was the only solution to restart the education system. The focus changed from the traditional setup to online education. The schools’ framework has been changed and upgraded with the infusion of technology. Initially, there had been chaos and turmoil in the school management as the instructors and the students were facing lack of information. The major focus of this paper is to examine the role of technology in education in the educational year 2020-2021. This study will be used as a platform to review the strategies that are used by the educationists of the 21st century. It will also help teachers, learners, and the general public to understand the survey of technology in education. Survey research is used as a method to review and analyze the data.
